MedSym Solutions and ION Solutions, a diversified physician services organization whose membership represents more than half of the private practice oncologists in the United States, have expanded their strategic partnership to include the MedSym Solutions fully-integrated, oncology-specific Electronic Health Record (EHR) / Practice Management (PM) software suite. This enhanced agreement strengthens the partnership between MedSym and ION Solutions and advances the organizations’ shared goal of driving growth in community oncology.
Under this enhanced partnership, ION Solutions members will now receive preferred pricing to MedSym’s EHR/PM system, in addition to the preferred pricing they had already received on MedSym’s revenue cycle management tools. This broader access to MedSym’s suite of services will foster the oncologist’s ability to improve patient care and become more financially stable.
Furthermore, the two organizations have plans to integrate MedSym’s EHR/PM software products with ION Solution’s Nucleus Solutions technology platform, which already includes tools that help practices better manage inventory, claims, practice data, and pathway adherence.
While there are no plans for MedSym to become ION Solutions’ exclusive partner in providing EHR/PM services, this enhanced agreement substantially increases the value of MedSym’s services by giving ION Solutions members a cost-efficient, bundled solution to address clinical and operational needs.
