MedSym Solutions Announces Three New Contracts for Electronic Health Records

MedSym Solutions announces today that three new oncology/hematology clinics have contracted for the ONC-ATCB certified MedSymEHR 2.1 software as their preferred technology solution:

  • Fitzpatrick Cancer Center at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH), Plattsburg, NY
  • East Tennessee Cancer and Blood, Greenville, TN
  • Wellness Oncology, West Hills, CA

Wellness Oncology and East Tennessee Cancer and Blood will implement the oncology-specific fully integrated Practice Management and Electronic Health Record system. The MedSymPM and MedSymEHR solution is designed specifically for the complex billing and demanding patient care services rendered in the cancer care environment.

Brian Driskill, CEO of MedSym Solutions states, “We are excited to have our software technology be selected by these oncology practices. We believe the oncology-specific functionality and integrated EHR and PM software platform helped form their decision to partner with MedSym.”

Fitzpatrick Cancer Center will be installing and training 40 staff members in the cancer clinic, located on the main campus of CVPH, on the MedSymEHR. CVPH is licensed as a 341-bed acute care hospital and 54-bed skilled nursing facility. It provides a wide array of medical and surgical services with over 2,250 employees and 156 medical staff members. Medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology, clinical research protocols, on-site laboratory, pharmacy services and support groups are located within the Center.
CVPH, East Tennessee Cancer and Blood, and Wellness Oncology will utilize the MedSym Application Service Provider (ASP) program.
